"Believe Me" Broadway is not your typical karaoke contest. While there is an emphasis on singing well, (25% of the score) it has more of an emphasis on the ability to make a song believable (75% of the score). Hitting the high notes is always a delicious dessert, but sometimes we forget that the main meal is far more important.

The first hour of this event is "anything goes". We understand some people want to bring their children and that is absolutely encouraged. However, during the first hour, risky, sexual and even vulgar songs* are allowed. After the first hour slots are filled all other songs must be family friendly.
* The judges have the right to pause, ask for other choices, and even refuse performance if they deem it "too far creativity".
Any participant is allowed to enter two (2) songs, with the suggestion the contestant have that other choices just in case.
No song may be performed twice in the same event, unless the judges allow it.
