1. Once cast, do not change your physical appearance without express permission of the director and/or the producer.
3. Please respect the time of all involved. There will be a Facebook group created for each production. This group will update any changes with rehearsal schedules and or events. If you are not on Facebook, it is your responsibility to find a way to gain this knowledge. Once a rehearsal schedule is set, it is the responsibility of each member of the group to uphold this schedule to guarantee best use of time.
5. It is suggested that all talent be open to new methods, techniques, and ideas that allow the freedom of the production to explore all possibilities. There will be no intentional change in the language or nature of any character without the expression written permission of the director and/or production team.
7. As needed, the cast will discuss character development. However, if additional lengthy conversations are needed, please address the production team outside of rehearsal time so that we may make the best use of the entire group's time.
9. Maintain a quiet and disciplined and professional attitude at all times. Once rehearsal is begun, only whisper voices are committed in the space. If Behavior becomes problematic, you may be removed from a rehearsal, a performance comp and even the production all together.
11. Anything...If it does not belong to you, do not touch it. Props.... If it has not been assigned to you specifically, make sure to request usage before moving it.
2. Everyone is to be treated with respect. Keep your ego in check, there is no time or space for divas. While each actor has their own process, it is important to understand the director and the production team lead the creative process and general atmosphere of the production.
4.While most rehearsals and calls are negotiable, please communicate any and all changes as quickly as possible to the designated person and/or post in the Facebook group.
6. Do not offer direction to fellow actors without approval for the current production team. It is the actor's responsibility to guide themselves and their characterization, it is the director's responsibility to evaluate, and as necessary, change those elements to fit with the big picture. If additional direction is needed, please address that with the director or assistant director privately.
8. Because of the short rehearsal period, practice is required outside of that time. Please bring a pencil and your script to each rehearsal to each rehearsal and notate your script of all blocking and tone notes, so that rehearsal time is not wasted in repeating covered elements.
10. In order to retain the creative integrity of the space, all cell phones are asked to be put on silent or turned off all together during rehearsal.
12. In an age of cancelled culture and political correctness, please be aware of all of your social postings and their impact. While any “before” or “after” posts will not be under consideration, any posts made “during” production will be subject to the "PC" rules of society as they can be seen as a reflection of Crash Course Theater.
