This Fellowship is here to create a safe space for those who choose to celebrate each other in their own spiritual paths. Inclusion is how we unleash the power of diversity. We strive each day to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in our diverse community. We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view in any faith. Different ages, gender identities, races, sexual orientations, physical or mental abilities, ethnicities, and perspectives are proven to make a better community. More importantly, creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can participate is essential to spiritual growth. YOU ARE NOT MERELY TOLERATED, YOU ARE CELEBRATED HERE!
Starting in late March, these online services will be held every Sunday at 12:30 PM CST. The links to them will be listed here as well as the secret (invite only by your request) Facebook Group. The ONLY part of the service that will be recorded will be the speaker. And anyone can choose to be on screen or can leave their camera off, whichever makes them feel more comfortable. The service will be carefully timed and will be 1.5 hours long exactly. And the chat function will be on and monitored to make sure everyone has a voice!
If you are interested in being a part of the service, just click the button below. We will not be taking up any kind of collection, as Crash Course Theater is taking care of all expenses.
A special note: The name, logo, and time are only fixed for right now. Once we begin looking into becoming a 501c3 whomever is a part of this group can be involved in either creating new information or confirming this information as it is. The only requirements are that they are in agreement with the UU principles, which are listed below.
The seven Principles and six Sources of the Unitarian Universalist Association grew out of the grassroots of our communities, were affirmed democratically, and are part of who we are.And as As Rev. Barbara Wells ten Hove explains, “The Principles are not dogma or doctrine, but rather a guide for those of us who choose to join and participate in Unitarian Universalist religious communities.”*
The six sources mentioned above are:
Rev. Kathleen Rolenz said, “Throughout history, we have moved to the rhythms of mystery and wonder, prophecy, wisdom, teachings from ancient and modern sources, and nature herself.”
